As the Earth Thaws, So Do We…
The ground does not force the seed. It simply holds it, dark and close and quiet, until the seed remembers what it came here to do.
There is something quietly powerful about this time of year.
The space between winter and spring doesn't rush. It softens. It thaws. It reminds us that what once felt still, dormant, or even lifeless is often simply in transition, gathering energy beneath the surface, preparing for something new.
We don't always notice the moment things begin to change. One day, the air feels a little lighter. The sun lingers a little longer. And something within us begins to stir.
Life's transitions can feel much the same.
Sometimes they arrive with clarity and intention. Other times, they unfold in ways we didn't choose, through loss, uncertainty, or unexpected change. We may find ourselves in that in-between space… no longer who we were, and not yet sure who we are becoming.
This space can feel tender. Uncertain. Even uncomfortable.
And yet, it is also rich with possibility.
In a recent conversation I had with one of my sisters, she spoke about when the unseen becomes seen, that subtle, almost imperceptible shift when what has been gathering beneath the surface finally begins to show itself. It stopped me…
Because isn't that exactly what a life transition asks of us?
Just like the early days of spring, there is quiet growth happening, often unseen. Old layers are shedding. New awareness is emerging. There is an invitation here: to listen more deeply, to soften our grip, and to trust that something meaningful is unfolding, even when we cannot fully see it yet.
What might it look like to meet yourself in this season with a little more authenticity and a little more compassion? To honor where you've been… to acknowledge what is shifting… and to gently open to what might be growing within you?
If any of this is resonating, I want you to know: you are not alone in this.
My coaching colleague, Wendy Williams, and I would love to invite you to join us for the What Now? Life Transitions Circle, beginning Monday, April 6. This is an intentionally small, six-week virtual group coaching experience… a space held with care, curiosity, and genuine connection, designed for women navigating significant life changes.
Whether you're moving through a career shift, a relationship ending, empty-nesting, a health reckoning, retirement, relocation, or simply a quiet sense that your current life no longer fits, this Circle is for you.
Our work together is grounded in researcher Bruce Feiler's findings on life transitions. Feiler discovered that the people who navigate disruption most meaningfully aren't the ones who move on fastest. They are the ones who pause, reflect, honor what is ending, and allow something new to take shape. Together, we'll sit with questions like: What is this transition asking me to let go of? Who am I becoming on the other side of this? What might hold meaning and purpose in my next chapter?
This circle is not about having answers. It's about being genuinely supported as you listen for them.
Here is what one past participant shared:
"When I look back on the Circle support, I can see how it really gave me the space and grounding for what I'm experiencing now — little steps out of my comfort zone, expanding in every direction in life with more confidence and bravery — and joy."
We would genuinely love to have you with us. You can learn more and register through our websites, Weave Wellbeing and Bridges Health Coaching, or simply reply to this email and we'll take it from there.
Wherever you find yourself right now, in stillness, in movement, or somewhere in between, trust that your process matters. Just like the season, you are allowed to unfold in your own time.
