Journey of Souls: Case Studies of Life Between Lives by Michael Newton, Ph. D.
This book profoundly shifted my perspective on the soul, on life beyond this earthly existence, on judgment (with the reminder that we’re the only ones who judge ourselves so harshly), and on the boundless love that surrounds, fills, and carries us, here and beyond.
Theo of Golden: A Novel by Allen Levi
Theo of Golden reminded me of the power of story to help us see ourselves, and one another, more fully. This story invited me beneath the surface of everyday moments to the deeper truths that connect us: presence, belonging, and the ways healing unfolds when we slow down and truly see.
I am experiencing this book as an invitation to listen more closely, live more compassionately, and recognize the quiet courage carried within us all.

Pondering
This quote came from Tim Ferriss’ weekly email. This place of trying too hard and needing to learn to do everything lightly resonated with me to my bones… Can you relate to this?
“It’s dark because you’re trying too hard.’ ‘Dark because you want it to be light. Remember what you used to tell me when I was a little girl. “Lightly, child, lightly. You’ve got to learn to do everything lightly. Think lightly, act lightly, feel lightly. Yes, feel lightly, even though you’re feeling deeply. Just lightly let things happen and lightly cope with them.” I was so preposterously serious in those days. … Lightly, lightly—it was the best advice ever given me. … So throw away all your baggage and go forward.... you must walk so lightly. Lightly, my darling.”
- Aldous Huxley, Island, 1962
